The Christmas Factory 30/11 - 6/12
The Christmas Factory returns to Technopolis in Gazi making it the most festive place to be in the centre of Athens. Kids will get to meet Santa in his house as well explore the sweet and toy factory. A Christmas park wouldn’t be complete without the Ferris wheel and carousel rides. An ice-skating rink and a Magic School are the big attractions this year.
Little Kook Cafe
The heart of Christmas beats yearlong in Little Kook Cafe. Located in downtown Athens, this decoration project has expanded through the surrounding streets over the years. To begin with, inside and out, the whole place is covered in lights, fir twigs, ornaments, and “snow”. The front features a huge display featuring carollers, a horse (which may seem random, but we like it), trees and all manner of holiday-themed decorations and characters. The beverages and desserts here are just as on point and aimed to satisfy your yuletide cravings. Be prepared to wait several minutes to go in since there's limited sitting.
Noel the Holiday Bar
As you can tell by the name, this bar was made for the task of making it feel like Christmas. Located in a traditional Athenian arcade, this elegant and rococo bar and restaurant will put you in the mood for Christmas!
Great dining and drinking options make Noel a place to visit when in Athens. Once again, the waiting line may require some patience and perseverance but the atmosphere will make it worth your time.
Leonardo Da Vinci - 500 Years of Genius
On the 500th anniversary since the death of Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, inventor, geometrist, engineer, anatomist, musicians and paleontologist Leonardo da Vinci, the old bus depot at the bottom of the pedestrianized part of Ermou Street is hosting an impressive exhibition showcasing different aspects of his multifaceted career. In cooperation with the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum in Rome and Lumiere Technology in Paris, “Leonardo Da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius,” a tribute to the polymath and artist, comprises 75 models of his inventions, interactive machines, copies of his famous codes and a scientific analysis of the enigmatic portrait of Mona Lisa, among others.

Mpafi - Parnitha Mountain Refuge
The mountains of Athens aren't celebrated the way they should but we are here to change all that! The Mpafi mountain refuge is a modern establishment that offers overnight stays and a variety of tasty dishes. The main advantage is its location, deep inside the Parnitha mountain, on snowy days it becomes a winterland but you need to be a careful driver. Built in 1937, it offers a combination of nature activities, restaurateur services and accommodation in the quiet of the mountain with a breath taking view.
